Portal Counseling Services
Therapy can be an adventure: embracing the unknown, facing down fear together with courage, discovering your hidden resources, and exploring the landscape of your one wild and meaningful life.
When we move together with purpose into the past or future to find and face what is standing in the way of your natural healing processes, the present can become a place you begin to lean into and enjoy with new eyes.
My work is to create a secure space, have your back when you need support, bring tools you might need, and guide with insight as you take the time you need to heal.
All aspects of us are craving a place to be acknowledged for the work they do— I can help you learn to listen.

Who I Am
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Washington state provides services to folks by integrating acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR, IFS/parts work, and narrative counseling, with a generally holistic mind/body approach.
Instead of labeling you by your symptoms, I believe it is important to explore the broader context in which your struggles have arisen, such as societal discrimination, trauma, family history, the ways you’ve had to cope to survive, and your ability to access resources.
From here, we do the transformative work of building your connection to your personal strengths, your resilience, the wholeness of your body, your sense of community, your confidence, and your Self-love.
My in-person and telehealth services offer an integrative approach to mental health care for adults with difficulties such as post-traumatic stress, minority stress, depression, anxiety, and difficult life transitions, while remaining open to different presenting concerns.
It is important that you feel safe enough to explore all relevant parts of your experience in therapy, regardless of who you are or who you love. This practice is affirming of LGBTQIA2S+ identities and expressions. I am committed to seeking to understand and honoring diverse perspectives and experiences.
I do not specifically incorporate any religion or spirituality into therapy unless it is meaningful to you to do so.
